Finca Pacífica Barú spans 34 hectares just 1.5 kilometers east of Dominical, bordering the paved road connecting Dominical to Pérez Zeledón — which means easy access to Uvita, Manuel Antonio, and San Isidro. The property was a cattle ranch that has since been returned to forest through decades of conservation work, and it now holds primary and secondary forest, creeks, waterfalls, and ocean-view building sites. Two large commercial sites front the paved road, appropriate for reception, restaurant, cottages, or other commercial use. A dirt road from there winds through 14 hectares of secondary forest toward private building sites with ocean and sunset views. About 20 hectares have been designated as a private wildlife refuge.
